Besides the fact that icons and “themes” are quite ugly (sorry but I do think so), some additional comments:
- When you add a connection via the mobile device it wants you to download the contact info to iPhone address book. If you don’t do that, new connections counter “badge” will remain on App icon as well as in the “Connections” tab inside App.
- It is annoying because many of us want some business contacts to remain in LinkedIn. They don’t have to be downloaded to iPhone address book. Come on, even Facebook doesn’t want you to do that – even though it is meant for friends.
- There is unintended workaround though: Logout and Login again. The new connection badge and option to download it to address book will vanish.
